U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii

The U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii, which is housed in a 19th Century Coast Artillery Battery, is located at Fort DeRussy on Waikiki Beach (next to the Hale Koa Hotel). Informative and entertaining exhibits interpret the history of the U.S. Army in Hawaii and the Pacific with unique scale models, historic artifacts, photos, and much more. There is also a gift shop. Tropic Lightning Museum

The Tropic Lightning Museum, which is currently housed in what used to be the original post library, is located at Schofield Barracks. The museum houses artifacts and exhibits about the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii, and the early history of Schofield Barracks.
