The Arts & Crafts facilities offer a wide variety of programs to enhance the creativity and technical skills of the military community. Do-it-yourself classes and work areas are available in Ceramics and Mold Pouring, Picture Framing, Pottery (wheel, raku, hand-building), Stained Glass, Woodworking, Photography, Polymer Clay, Quilting and Youth Art. Custom services are available in Framing, Laser Engraving, Sublimation (coffee mugs, t-shirts), Ceramic greenware and Craft Supply resale. Both facilities have a variety of ready-made gifts for farewell presentations or other occasions. Note: Some classes are site specific. See hours of operation on the right hand side.

Army MWR Arts & Crafts New Workshops/Classes  All workshops and classes require pre-registration.  Call the Craft shop to sign up for the following classes:

On-going Arts & Crafts Classes:

• Stained Glass - Fort Shafter. Learn lead or foil techniques. Friday, 6 - 9 p.m. & Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. $40 + supplies for a 6 session class
• Mosaic Glass - New at Fort Shafter! Fun projects using colored glass, $30 for 4 Saturday sessions, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Ceramic Mold Pouring - Saturday mornings at Schofield, and Friday nights at Fort Shafter. $25 for  3 sessions.
• Woodworking - Schofield and Fort Shafter. $9 for one session. Pre-registration required. Call for more information.
• Picture Framing - Schofield. Cost is $45 (includes all materials to complete an 8x10 project. Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Pre-registration and payment required.
• Polymer Clay - Fort Shafter. $12 + supplies. Please call for next session.
• Quilting - Classes meet every Monday and Thursday, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Fort Shafter, and every Tuesday, 6 - 9 p.m. at Schofield. $18 for the first session, $4 each additional.
