Army Community Theatre

The Army Community Theatre (ACT) is located at Richardson Theatre, Fort Shafter. ACT presents a season of four musicals and four plays. Tickets are reasonably priced with season discounts available. Reserved seating only. Curtain time for all performances is 7:30 pm. An innovative new program is the Reader�s Theatre presented quarterly at the Richardson Theatre, on Sundays, 2:00 pm.

For reservations, call the box office Monday through Friday, 10 am- 2 pm, phone number (808) 438-4480.

Open theatrical auditions are held in support of scheduled productions. Workshops in dance, acting, technical theatre, and reader’s theatre are ongoing. For more information, call (808) 438-1980 or fax (808) 438-1287.

The ACT also has a costume shop located at Fort Shafter, which provides rental services of costumes for holidays and special occasions. Rentals are by the day or week. Call (808) 438-6157 for appointments or season operating hours.
