Eligibility Requirements

Blue Star Cards are issued to Spouses of Army Soldiers deploying to a location where they receive hazard duty pay for a minimum of six months*. Cards will be issued beginning one month prior to the Soldier's estimated deployment date and are issued throughout the duration of the deployment. Cards are valid from the day the Soldier deploys until the day he or she returns. Spouses, dual military Families and Family Care Plan providers are eligible for the program. The Blue Star Card is accepted at all Army Hawaii installations including Fort Shafter, Pililaau Army Recreation Center, Schofield Barracks, Tripler Army Medical Center and Wheeler Army Air Field.

*Spouses of Army Soldiers deployed for less than six months may also qualify. Please give us a call to find out if you are eligible.

Registration

To get your card please download and print out the instructions and application form.

Please read the intructions thoroughly and fill out the application properly. You will need to take all your required paper work to one of the following Army Community Service (ACS) locations:
